The Canadian band Spell approached me about helping them edit a video for their cover of “A Waxing Moon Over Babylon”. I suggested they let me animate it, and knowing my love for The Devil’s Blood, they gave me their trust. This video gave me an opportunity to return to a technique I’d worked out a decade earlier, but hadn’t done since. I view these as animated screen print posters.
